The mission of Connecticut Food Bank is to provide nutritious food to people in need. Once a year, we volunteer to fill lunch bags with food to ensure that children will have meals to eat over the weekend.
This organization provides homeless and low-income children living in Boston with the essentials they require to thrive, so they can feel safe, warm, valued and ready to learn. We help package and sort donations and build customized “KidPacks” for the children.
The San Francisco Food Bank helps provide food for neighborhood pantries, children’s snack programs, and grocery boxes for seniors – and helps with soup kitchens and food drives throughout the local area. We helped sort and prepare food in order for the bank to provide 100,000 meals per day.
Chiltern Open Air Museum tells the story of unique history through buildings, landscapes and culture for the enjoyment, inspiration and learning of present and future communities. As volunteers, we help maintain historic buildings.
